Austin Electric upgraded the electrical system at St. John Center/ATS, in Downingtown PA, replacing an old 800A 3-phase service with a new 1600A 3-phase service for an assisted living and outpatient medical facility. Our licensed electricians removed an outdated high-voltage transformer inside the building, installing a modern pad-mount transformer and a 350kW Cummins automatic backup generator, all compliant with the National Electrical Code for enhanced safety and reliability. The project was completed efficiently, minimizing disruption and providing robust power redundancy for critical operations.
